Worms

I have 9 cats and 5 dogs I have wormed and wormed and it works for a while but they come right back. I have wormed them for tapeworms and roundworms and we don't have a flea problem. At the end of my rope don't know what to do need advice fast!

RESPONSE:

Tape worms usually require 2 treatments - at least that has been our experience. And they do come back especially if the pets go outside. We don't have a flea problem either but we do have tapeworms frequently. And if one has them there are usually several more that also have them and we just haven't seen them. We use Revolution topical as it will get rid of tape worms. It is kind of expensive but we get it at a discount from Joe's Pet Meds out of New Zealand so a perscription is not needed. We always have several doses around. You should also discuss it with your vet to see if he has any ideas. I wish we had a better answer for you but so far, monthy treatments are the only thing we have found that works.
