Territory marking

by Carol
(CT)

I have two sister cats (from the same litter) that are now 11 years old and they have begun to mark their territory. What remedy do you suggest? I would like to try the Back Flower remedies but not sure which one I should try or how much to give the cats. Your help is greatly appreciated.

RESPONSE:

At this point, I have more questions than answers! At 11 years of age, I would be very concerned that they have started spraying. Are they spraying or going outside the box? Has something changed? Did you move? Add another people or pet family member? Do they have a urinary tract infection? Did you change their food or litter? Without more info, my initial thought is that you are dealing with a health issue rather than a behavior problem. Get them check by your vet first then go from there.
