My cat stopped using her litter box

My cat has stopped using her litter box which is outside on the screened poarch and is poopin under the end table in the living room, HELP!

RESPONSE:

She is trying to tell you something. Have her and her stools checked by your vet. Make sure the litter box is kept clean. Try adding another litter box. She may not like peeing and pooping in the same box. Try changing the litter and even getting a new litter box. Be sure to completely clean the area where she is going using a cleaner designed to get out cat urine/stool odors then place something less comfortable for her to go on. A carpet protector with the little spikes facing up works good. Try these suggestions and see if it helps.
