Help! My Cats Wont Stop Fighting!

My cats are sisters and have grown up togther. When Lilly was 4 months old she came to live with me after 2 months, when her and her sister Pillow are 6 months Pillow came to live with us. They seem fine exept for some hissing on Lillys part, but at night they chase eachother and try and scratch one another up. I'm scared there gonna get into a serious fight when we go to school or sleep. How do we stop them from fighting? It's already been 2 days.

RESPONSE:

You don't say how old they are now but I get the impression they are young. Also, are you sure they are fighting? Often, cat play can seem violent but no damage is actually being done. And 2 days is not near long enough for cats to learn to live with each other. Try more playtime with them to help them burn off excess energy especially before you go to bed. Otherwise, just be patient and give them a few weeks to adjust. And try not to worry. It's not a fight until injuries happen.
