Excellent way to stop spraying. Place treats in places they pee. Works Great.

by Candice Kimmel
(Sturgis, SD USA)

I have 16 rescue cats. After years of sray free living two of my little darlings Whisper 2 year old neautered male and Quint 2 year old neautered male have taken exception to a stray cat that comes around and sprays all over the yard. In response they spay the front and back door. Appliances in kitchen and any window.
What works for me is this. Feliway plug in, in just about every room. Clean the trouble zones throughly and very important place their favourite treats in those spots. My cats will not pee where I place tasty treats. It must be something they truly love. For all my cats without exception that would be Liv a littles Chicken treats. (Sure to put me in the poor house). It works great. I have managed to stop the spraying completely and believe me I have two very dedicated culprits.

RESPONSE:

Great suggestion! We plan to try that and see what happens. We have placed food in "target" areas with no luck. They peed on the food dish. Maybe it needs to be something they really like!
Thanks for telling us about it!
