Cat Pee-HELP!!!!! AND my cat has stomatitis

by Jaime
(New York)

We have 9 cats who seem to get along very well. One of our little angels keeps urinating on our counter, desk, floor etc. It subsides for awhile and if we go away or don't feed her when she wants (for example), she will pee somewhere in the house. I would like to try the spirit essesnces, could you tell me which one(s) to get. Thank you

Part 2 of my question

One of my cats has been diagnosed with stomatitis. A specialist suggested pulling all of her teeth. I was uncomfortable with this option so I sought help from a holistic veterinarian. She has only had one treatment and we will go back every 2 weeks. She is on homeopathic medicines he made in his office.

Could I give her any additional help-spirit or flower essences? Maybe something for the chakras?

Any help would be greatly appreciated. thank you so much!

RESPONSE:

Jamie:

To know what Essences to use for your inappropriate urinator, you need to have an idea of WHY she is doing it. Is she getting picked on? Is she trying to be top cat? Does she suffer from urinary stones? Or other chronic illness? Is she demanding attention? Suffering seperation anxiety? or anxiety in general? etc. Once you have an idea, then you can use Spirit or Flower Essences to help. Let us know what you think the problem is and we can help you narrow down the essence choices.
While you are doing your "detective work" make sure she is getting enough active play time with you along with quiet attention (brushing works well for cats that like it). This will go a long way toward making a happy cat!
Regarding the stomatitis, we haven't found any essences that help with that. Our Fred has stomatitis and short of steroid injections with ultimate teeth pulling, our vet had no other suggestions.
We give him Kreosotum, which is a homeopathic remedy for gingivitis. This has helped to keep his gums pink instead of red. His breath smells better too! We also use Noni Essence from Spirit Essence to help enhance healing and support his immune system. They also have Chakra Balancer but we have not tried it. (If you order from Spirit Essence, be sure to use our code "AHOUSEFULLOFCATS" for 5% off your order!)Using a Sage Tea rinse is also supposed to help but Fred about killed us when we tried it on him so we don't have any first hand confirmation of it's effectiveness.
Like you, we will do everything we can think of before we have all his teeth pulled - it just seems so barbaric!
Good luck and let us know how it goes...And if anybody else out there has any good ideas to help kitties with this problem, please let us know!
