Can't get the urine out

I wrote in before about my 5-year-old male cat who has started peeing on the carpet. I had the carpet professionally cleaned, but it did not help at all. I have used several products specifically formulated for pet stains, but I still can not get rid of the urine odor. I don't want this to continue. Are there are products that might get out set-in urine stains? I am seriously desperate.
