Best vacuum cleaner for cat fur

hello - i have 4 cats and love them. Most people i know don't like the litter box for cat which doesn't bother me so much. but what drives me crazy is the FUR!!!!

so on that note - i was hoping for any feed back on great vacuum brands for cat fur or brands to avoid.

RESPONSE:

We don't use any type of vacuum type brush for our cats as they hate the noise. They all do get brushed 2-3 times a week and some are brushed every day. We use a slicker type brush that most of the cats tolerate very well. It is also a good time for bonding so us and the cats enjoy brushing time.
If anyone uses a vacuum type brush for their cats, let us know!
